Hapag Lloyd announced on March 28th that it will implement a new comprehensive rate increase (GRI) for 20 foot and 40 foot dry container cargo from Asia to the West Coast of Latin America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and the East Coast of Latin America, as well as for 40 foot high containers and 40 foot dry freezers.
The GRI will take effect for all destinations on April 8th and for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands on April 28th, until further notice.
